Rock n Roll Stops Part 3: Abbey Road / Studio

This is Abbey Road which is located in Westminster England. This is where the Beatles famous Abbey Road album cover was shot. To the right of the famous walk way there is #3 Abbey Road Studios which was purchased by EMI in 1929. After this time period until now, Abbey Road Studio has been regarded as the Mecca of technologically advanced studios. Of course this is where in 1962, George Martin recorded the then unknown Liverpool band called the Beatles. Everyone knows they lived at Abbey Road for the next seven years. After the Beatles success at Abbey Road, such artists as Paul McCartney with is new band Wings and Pink Floyd came to record the albums, including Floyd's masterpiece; Dark Side of the Moon. Since the big rock boom many things have happened there; Lord of the Rings, Return of the Jedi, Raiders of the Lost Arc and Harry Potter among many films have been scored and edited there.
