More Green Day Vinyl Than You Can Shake a Stick At

I received two more pieces to my collection today. The first is the Geek Stink Breath seven inch single, printed in Germany and on red vinyl.
It features the songs Geek Stink Breath and the B Side- I Want to Be on TV. I still need to buy two more pieces but I have yet to find them and I need to save some money for an MP3 player I have my eye on, but there will still be lots of vinyl coming as I have like 10 items all on their way in the mail.....Man I feel like a dirty junkie when I think about my vinyl collecting.

Shenanigans Blue Wax LP

This is the shenanigans lp which comes on blue wax. It is from Germany and limited to only 2000 copies. This is a fairly hard lp to find and usually comes from Europe.

New Green Day Vinyl

I got two new green day vinyls today. The first is the Minority seven inch single from Adeline records. This one comes in three different colours but I was to late and only got the black vinyl one (the most common.)
I also have one hell of a weekend on eBay and am expecting about 10 pieces to add to my collection. That means I only need to buy or find two more pieces to own every green day vinyl released. My last two are basket case #1 green Vinyl, then the big purchase of Dookie in either black, green, pink or white depending on how much I want to pay on eBay. enjoi

American Idiot Picture Disc

Here is another picture disc American Idiot. I bought this one in England, they appear to be the only ones who buy the Green Day collectible stuff. Next time Green Day come out with an album I'm moving to England for a year to collect and have a pint of Strongbow.

Holiday Picture Disc

This is the Holiday 7" Picture Disc. You can still by them pretty cheap at www.interpunk.com since they were released in 2005. Anyone know any other sites to buy Green Day vinyl let me know as I think I found them all but you can never be to sure

Waiting Pink Jukebox Single

Green Day - Waiting from the 2000 WARNING release. First couple thousand came on pink vinyl. Features a side: Waiting b side: a rough copy of Maria before it was cleaned up and re recorded for International Superhits. (I can't decide which version I like best)

Nimrod LP

A new addition to collection. Green Day's 1997 release Nimrod on Black Vinyl. Very rare and goes for around $250-$350 (us) lately on eBay. I got it for $25 at a record store, imagine that luck. Printed in Germany.

International Superhits

Another Green Day Vinyl to add to the collection. The greatest hits package International Superhits. This copy is the pink vinyl and there were only 2,000 printed ever .I found this online for $27.00 and just ordered the shenanigans b-side lp. This LP was printed in Germany and distributed by the German edition of Cargo Records.

Green Day Toys

I am adding a few more pieces to my Green Day collection as I have received more items in the mail. I will add them one by one with pictures. These items are three toys that were available through Cinderblock. The are comic book caricatures of the band, but the Mike Dirnt one actually looks like Mike and features his trademark Frustrators, Stella and Screeching Weasel Tattoo. Who says older boys don't like toys?

Green Day Collection

I am a collector of many things Green Day. My latest obsession is to collect all the vinyl releases that Green Day has come out with. I have found numerous items on eBay and online stores but this is my newest addition. The second Basket Case 7 inch vinyl single in green vinyl.

Chinese Democracy

I just heard the leaked new Guns N Roses demos from their album Chinese Democracy which was supposed to come out for the last ten years. I am a huge GNR fan and own all their previous albums but these demos are nothing like the previously released material. The first release we got from the new GNR line up was Oh My God for the End of Days soundtrack and it was terrible. Now we are hearing well recorded demos that are in my opinion amazing. It is such a change of pace from the music we are hearing today. It has what appears to be drum loops that actually fit the rock music. The singing appears to be sincere and AXL shows he still can sing almost twenty years after releasing Appetite for Destruction. The leaked songs are titled T.W.A.T (There was a time), Better, and the previously leaked IRS. The stand out track for me is BETTER but the problem is there is only half of the song available. My advice is get a hold of these songs and see what you may or may not have to look forward to if this album ever does get released. I know I will be the first in line if it does come out.

Another picture from London. I thought it was funny to see a strip club called the Beef Baron. This is more a name for a restaurant I would assume. Either way a funny name for a strip club.

All Hail the TINGLE KING

This weekend I spent in the lovely city of London. No not London England, that was in October, but this weekend I attended my ten year old brothers hockey tournament in London, Ontario. Well, this was my first time in the city but there were a few things that struck me as weird that I thought would be fun to start my blog. Now none of these things are uniquely Londonish or uniquely portray the city as they could probably been found anywhere but I got a kick out them both.

The first is the photograph of the shower head that was in the bathroom of our hotel. We stayed in the Radisson on the fourth floor of a nine floor hotel. Well as you can tell from the photo we had the pleasure of having a shower with the "Tingle King." Lets just start with the name. What exactly is a tingle? I would describe it as the feeling one acquires when a body part has fallen asleep. Now last time I checked that was not something I would look forward to, let alone go out of my way to buy a shower head called the "tingle king."

The second beef (no foreshadowing intended)I have is we were staying on the fourth floor of the hotel and to put it simply, I never once experienced the so called "tingle" that I was looking so forward too. As my sister bluntly put it, "someone spitting on you would have created more water pressure." Now do you call it false advertising if you don't actually know what a "tingle" sensation feels like. I just wonder what the poor chaps on the ninth floors water pressure was like.
