The Saints are Coming U2 & Green Day

I recently got the CD and 7" single for the collaboration of U2 and Green Day of the Skids song, the Saints are Coming. I got the CD single at a HMV in St Catharines and I got the 7" single as and import from England and bought it at Interpunk. All money goes to charity so in the end this is a nice collectors piece. These 2 musical giants got together at London's legendary Abbey Road Studios in September 2006 with producer Rick Rubin and collaborated on a cover version of the Skids classic taken from U2's forthcoming definitive collection. The studio version comes with a previously unreleased live recording of the title track that was recorded in the reopening of the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans in 2006.
